Join our online community for detailed yoga instruction specifically catered to beginners and those looking to gain a deep understanding of alignment in their practice. Each class provides clear, concise guidance, where students learn the nuts and bolts of body mechanics, stress relief, good posture and pain management. 

While all ages are welcome, Mark's classes attract many students in their 30's to late 70's as well as those healing through injuries.

ABOUT US


Yoga for Everyone

Mark found yoga in 1998 after many years of work-related repetitive strain injuries. Amazed by it's restorative capabilities, he left the corporate world and got certified through The Center for Yoga in 2003.

Since 2004, his company BalanceWork Yoga and Massage has been committed to helping corporations and individuals feel like their best selves through carefully tailored private yoga classes, group yoga, wellness retreats, massage, and self-care workshops.

Drawing inspiration from Iyengar, Anusara, and other forms of movement therapy, he focuses on teaching healthy alignment and biomechanics in his accessible, easy-to-understand, breath-based yoga classes. Mark is also a Certified Massage Therapist, and is currently working toward his certification in Integrative Craniosacral Unwinding and Yoga Therapy.

    How it works:

    A program is specifically tailored to your company's needs and goals. We start with a short phone call to discuss your current company culture and identify areas you would like to improve. For in-person programs, I supply insurance and all of the equipment for classes and workshops as well as additional therapists for massage events. Online programs are available both live and on-demand through an easy-to-use platform. Partnerships with certified nutritionists, ergonomists and other wellness professionals bring variety to your program. We have years of experience providing the stress-reducing benefits of yoga, massage and workshops for your workplace, corporate events and parties.
